My baby is one (well, she technically turns one tomorrow) and I can’t believe it! This year truly flew by. We have loved watching her grow this past year and can’t wait for all the years to come. She makes us so happy! Below are some of my favorite moments, memories, and milestones from the past month.

-She is walking! Like full on walking everywhere now. And she is also falling a lot. Ha! But she’s a tough girl.

-When Hazel sees a flower (whether it be outside or in a book), she smells it.

-Hazel loves to point to things and say “this”.

-She knows where her eyes, ears, mouth, nose, and belly button are.

-She loves to read and is always bringing me books to read to her.

-She also brings us food from her cupboard and says “this” when she wants to eat.

-The face she makes when she’s mad or wants something is the cutest face ever! I wish I could describe it to you, but I don’t even know how. The only word for it is ‘cute’.

-When Hazel sees a dog, she pants like a dog.

-She puts her toys up to ear and pretends to talk on the phone.

-She can say “Shad” (her cousin’s name) and “tree”

-Right after her bath she is so goofy. She thinks it’s so fun to be naked and she just rolls and flops all over the bed. It’s hilarious.

XO, Kacie
