SHOP THE POST

I wore this outfit to a dinner in San Fransisco with Mode Media and a group of Bay Area bloggers. The jacket arrived in the mail the day of the dinner, right when I was in the middle of an “I have nothing to wear” melt down, so I took it as a sign from the Fashion Gods that this is what I should wear 🙂 It was such a fun dinner, and I was so happy they invited me (especially since I’m not from the Bay Area). I’m always scared when I have to venture into the “big city” but it was worth it. Of course, I didn’t explore the city at all because the city terrifies me. I went straight to the dinner (which was at my hotel) and then straight home. But I still found some unwanted adventure along the way…Remember me telling you how last time I was in SF, a homeless man started knocking on my car window? Well this time the police had to take down a guy right in front of me while I was driving down the road. They blocked my lane, and I didn’t know what to do so I just sat in my car and waited. Then all the people in cars behind me started honking at me and zooming past me into oncoming traffic. Apparently people in SF don’t stop for anyone, not even the police. I, on the other hand, stop for turkeys to cross the road on a daily basis in the town I live in, so I’m sure as heck going to stop for the police too!
