My mom and beautiful grandma. We miss you grandma!
Day trip to San Fransisco with my mom, dad, sister, and hubby. Wish my soon-to-be brother-in-law could have been there.
My wedding day
Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful mom! She is the most amazing woman in the world and I hope to be just like her. She truly is the greatest mom and I love her so much! Hope everyone enjoys their Mother’s Day!

Hippie Chick

This is about as close to “hippie” as my wardrobe gets. What is it that makes this outfit fit into the hippie category? Look closely and you will see that my bracelet has peace signs dangling from it. And in my book peace signs = hippie. So peace out and have a groovy weekend! (See, I even have the lingo down)

Allergies

I think I have developed allergies 🙁 I haven’t been feeling well since Thursday. I’m all stuffed up, have a little bit of a sore throat and I can’t quit sneezing. And thinking back on this time last year, I felt this same way. I just though I was sick but now I’m thinking it was allergies. I always hear people complain about their allergies and I used think ‘so you have a runny nose, big deal’. Well, it is a big deal and it totally suck! I think karma gave me allergies for not being sympathetic to those with allergies. So to all those who suffer from allergies, I’m sorry!

And yes, I said allergies six (well, now seven) times in just a few sentences.

Pretty Little Look-a-Like

Lucy Hale Original Photo Source

Does anyone watch Pretty Little Liars? It is one of my favorite shows. I watch it when I work out in the morning. I am so concentrated on the show that before I know it, my elliptical workout is done. Also, I love to see the clothes that the girls wear. And while Lucy Hales character doesn’t have my favorite style (she always looks cute just not my taste), Lucy Hales personal style is great.  I saw this picture of her and it was then that I decided I needed mint jeans so I could copy this outfit. You could wear any colored jeans with this look but I love the mix of the feminine pastel mint jeans with the tough black and studs for some edge. It was a little too warm for me to wear a jacket and booties but I still love the look.

Lodi Street Faire

Yesterday was the Lodi Street Faire and I set up a booth for my boutique, Daisy Rae. The street faire is about 15 blocks of vendors. The event lasts from 8am-4pm and we (the hubby & I) had to get there at 5:30am to set up. It was a great event and lots of people came downtown to shop the vendor booths. It was super windy, though. I had my tent all set up with the sides on and a cute little dressing room but the wind forced me to take that stuff down. But other than the wind, the weather was great and we had a fun time! 🙂
I’m still a little sleepy from yesterday so if some the spelling and grammar is wrong, that is why. Or it could be because I’m not the best speller to begin with… math is more my thing.

Grocery Shopping

What do you wear when you go grocery shopping? Me, I wear 5in. heels. But apparently not everybody does and apparently people think it’s weird if you do.

I was walking down the pasta aisle, looking at my grocery list, minding my own business when a lady stopped and asked me why I was wearing heels at the grocery store. She said my feet must be in so much pain. I think she thought I was crazy. I then explained to her my feet problems and told her that heels are actually the most comfortable shoes for my feet. I think she still thought I was a little bit crazy (I guess most women don’t consider heels to be their comfy shoes) but she also looked relieved that I really wasn’t torturing my feet by unnecessarily wearing heel to the grocery store. I think she was just concerned for my well being.

Studs = Tough

For some reason, I feel really tough in this outfit. Maybe it’s the studs on the tank but I totally feel like “you don’t want to mess with me because I’m so tough and scary”. I mean, didn’t you think “That girl is DANGEROUS” when you saw these pictures? Don’t lie, I know you did.

I think I’ve been watching too much Nikita. I really wish I could kick some butt like her, all Jason Bourne style. And she does it so fashionably too. She’s in her pretty heels and most would think she is totally harmless. But then she becomes like a secret agent fighting ninja. I plan on being a ninja one day. I also plan on being a super good dancer like the professionals on Dancing With The Stars. I’ll happen…just you wait and see.

Wedding Season

By | Daisy Rae | 4 Comments

{Blazer: Daisy Rae; Top: Cha Cha Vente similar; Jeans: Marshalls similar; Necklace: J. Crew; Shoes: Chinese Laundry; Ring: Premier Designs; Sunglasses: Target}

My beautiful cousin, Rachel, is getting married in September and on Saturday we went bridesmaid dress shopping. After I tried on and ordered my dress, we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then went shopping at The Fountains. It was such a nice way to spend the day.

I am so excited for wedding season! We have my sister, three cousins, and a family friend are all getting married this year! The wedding festivities begin this month with one of the two bachelorette parties I’ve planned for my sister. Her first party is a trip to Catalina Island with her bridesmaids. We are going to have so much fun!

I Love Them, I Love Them Not

By | Uncategorized | 8 Comments
{Dress: Forever21; Jean Jacket: Old; Necklace: family heirloom; Tights: Target; Shoes: BGBG; Bag: Marshalls Bracelets: Premier Designs; Ring: Chloe + Isabel}

Here is a little something I bet you didn’t know about me… I hate wearing dresses! I see them on other people and think they are oh so cute but when I put them on, I just feel so dressy.  I do, however, like skirts. How can I like skirts but not dresses? I don’t know, I’m just weird like that.

Every once in a while I will come across a dress that I like on me, such as the dress I’m wearing today. Although, I think the main reason I like this dress is because it looks more like a skirt and top than a dress. But it is a dress and I like it!
