Why does everyone talk about dry winter skin, but you never hear about dry summer skin? I live in the dry, dry, dry and hot, hot, hot California summer sun, and my skin gets so dry in the summer! I guess that’s the price I pay for not living in the humidity. My hair thanks me (no frizz!), and my skin punishes me. Needless to say, moisturizing is a must!

I started using bliss products to moisturize with after discovering the bliss Fabulips ‘Pout’-O-Matic Lip Perfecting System about a year ago and falling in love with it! I figured if it works for the dry skin on my lips, why not try other bliss products to moisturize my body? Bliss offers powerful products so you can achieve spa-like treatments at home. They even offer a FatGirlSlim Skin Firming Cream to help with cellulite. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve read really good reviews about it. These four are my favorite bliss products I’ve tried so far. Read my mini reviews below to find out why I like them 🙂

– bliss Fabulips ‘Pout’-O-Matic Lip Perfecting System: I have super dry/chapped lips (I’m not sure why my lips get so dry but the rest of my face is normal…weird!), and I have spent years searching for products to help my lips. I’ve been using the bliss Fabulips ‘Pout’-O-Matic Lip Perfecting System (I’ve mentioned it a couple times over the past year), and it has really made a difference in my lips. It comes with a lip scrub and “clarisonic for your lips” machine type thing. I use it every other day, and it nourishes my lips while getting all the dead skin off. It’s also mess-free so you don’t have to worry about getting it all over your face or clothes like with some other lip scrubs. Without this, my lips would look like alligator skin. But with it, my lips are as soft as a baby’s bottom 🙂

– bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter: Confession time…I don’t use shaving cream when I shave my legs. I just don’t want to have to deal with one more step while I’m in the shower. Since I don’t use shaving cream, I need a lotion that is going to keep my skin moisturized enough so that I don’t get razor burn. This body butter seriously leaves my skin feeling so moisturized all day long! And it smells amazing! I heard someone describe the smell as “a lemon tree in the middle of a forest”, and there really is no better way to describe it. The body butter comes in other smells too. But if you aren’t a scented lotion person, they have the Naked Body Butter which is unscented 🙂

– bliss High Intensity Hand Cream: Two things I hate…1) Having dry hands and 2) Having greasy/oily hands from lotion. I love this hand cream because it leaves my hands feeling super soft and moisturized, but it soaks into the skin quickly so I’m not getting lotion oils all over everything I touch.

– bliss Foot Patrol Exfoliating and Softening Cream: I got this for Cody’s feet, but I occasionally use it on mine too. Cody has really dry, cracked, nasty feet from wearing his work boots, and this cream has worked well to soothe and soften some of the cracks. He’s always begging me to rub it on his feet in the evenings. lol. I’m the one who was born with messed up feet (I have tibial tendonitis + some other stuff, so my feet are pretty much always in pain), and he never rubs my feet. But Mr. Cody Dry-Feet can’t stop complaining about the pain from a few tiny cracks. He’s such a baby, I tell ya! On days that my feet are in a lot of pain, I’ll apply this foot cream before putting on my custom foot brace, and it’s so soothing!

Next time you’re at Kohl’s, you should definitely pick up some bliss products for yourself, and let me know how you like them! 🙂

XO, Kacie
