I’ve always really liked pencil skirts, but since I don’t work in an office (I blog full-time from home), I don’t own many. I think the last time I wore a pencil skirt was in high school when I was interviewing for scholarships. The lady who was interviewing me complimented my outfit, and it was then that I knew I’d get the scholarship. No matter how smart Ryan (my competition for the scholarship) was, he was no match for the womanly bond of fashion. πŸ˜‰ Of course, my interview outfit was a tab bit dressier than this casual pencil skirt outfit. But that’s the thing about pencil skirts…they can be professional with a blazer and pumps or casual with a tank and sandals. I think I’ve just convinced myself to get more pencil skirts!

P.S. Enter the Merci Maman Giveaway to win your own personalized wishbone necklace.

XO, Kacie
