Hi guys! 🙂 Today’s a short post because I’m feeling a little under the weather and can’t think of what to write. Luckily, I had these pictures from a couple weeks ago that I hadn’t posted yet and they were just waiting to make an appearance on the blog.
Happy Thursday! Thank you so much for reading my blog! It means the world to me!
I don’t think I’ve ever gone bra shopping without my mom. Even now as an adult, I plan bra shopping trips with my mom. It’s the perfect mother-daughter bonding time. We always get a good laugh when we look at our bras because mine are teeny-tiny and my mom, well, let’s just say she was definitely blessed in that department. A couple years ago, we discovered we were both wearing the wrong size. I was wearing a size too small, and I was feeling pretty proud that I graduated from size AA to A. Woot! Woot! Haha! It’s crazy what a difference it makes when you finally start wearing your correct bra size. Your clothes fit and look way better on your body. Now before each bra shopping trip, my mom and I take measurements so we are sure to always buy the correct size. Kohl’s has a bra fitting guide that makes it super easy to find your size. Last weekend my mom, sister, and I went bra shopping at Kohl’s (ok, and we also bought a couple cute outfits for Stevie Rae and I bought a Keurig…Kohl’s seriously has everything you could ever need), and we came up with the must-have bras for all women, no matter if you have a super small, almost nonexistent chest like me (padding helps ;)) or if you’re larger chested like my mom. Here’s our list of the 6 bras every woman should own: Read More
So….I stained my white skirt 🙁 Somewhere between feeding baby food to my niece (She’s the cutest when she eats! She opens her mouth really wide and sticks her tongue out. lol.) and sitting down on the ground at the park to watch my nephew play baseball, I stained it. Maybe it wasn’t wise to do those two activities in a white skirt. Lesson learned. All I can say is thank goodness for Shout.
Raise your hand if you’re super excited that the warmer weather is coming. I’m going to go ahead and assume everyone’s hand is raised. When I think of warmer weather, I think of Spring Break, cute swimsuits, the beach/pool, and fun times with my gal pals. I cannot wait for trips to the beach with friends…and Cody, I guess I’ll invite him too. I’ve already got my two new swimsuits and thought it’d be fun to share what I pack in my beach bag for a day at the beach/pool. Pretty much whenever I go to the beach, I stop by Target first to get the essentials because they have everything you would ever need.
This time of year, I’m all about wearing layers that I can peal off throughout the day. The days start our freezing, and by freezing I mean 45 degrees (I don’t know how you peeps live in the below freezing temps…I’m pretty sure you are the toughest people on earth) and then by the afternoon it’s in the 70’s. I need you guys to settle a debate for me. Cody says my favorite black jeans are actually now blue, but I say they still look black. What do you think? I asked my two best friends and they side with Cody. Sadly, I had to inform them that they are all colorblind because these pants are so obviously black…or so I thought. Now that I look at them closely in the sun, I think they have faded to blue but I’m in denial about it 🙁 I’ve had these jeans for over three years and I wear them almost 24/7 so I guess it makes since that they’d fade, but it Read More
Are you shocked I’m wearing these jeans again? Yeah, me neither.
So I have to give a shout out to the person who is probably the youngest reader of Kacie’s Kloset/soon-to-be Elements of Ellis, and that person is my handsome 8-year-old nephew, Jake. Hi Jake! Love you! Two weekends ago, Cody and I got to have our two nephews, Jake and Ty, come stay with us for a few days while their parents went to Tahoe, and we had the best time! It rained a little but we didn’t let that stop us from having fun. We went on walks, played tag, went to the park, spent a day at the zoo-which is when I wore this outfit, and built forts in the living room. Jake also lectured me on why Read More
Changes are a coming to this here blog. I’ve decided to change my blog name (the content of the blog will stay the same) and switch over to WordPress while I’m at it. Eek! 🙂 I’m changing the name for two main reasons… 1. Kacie’s Kloset is kind of difficult to spell which makes my blog hard to find when people search for it. Everyone spells my name wrong…that includes family members. Even when I spell it out for people, they still get it wrong. One time, I spelled out every letter of my name for a lady and she spelled it ‘Cassie’. lol. 2. I feel like Kacie’s Kloset is too Read More
