EVERYDAY BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Dove, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #pmgdove #DovePartner #EssentialUpgrade http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstVsummer beauty essentialsDove Advanced Care AntiperspirantDove Advanced Care Antiperspirant reviewDove Advanced Care Antiperspirant factsbeauty essentials

Every once in a while I give my beauty essentials a little upgrade. And when I do I sing to them “I can (up), can I (up). Lemme upgrade you.” You know, that Beyonce song with Jay Z? Yes, I’m weird and like to have a theme song to pretty much everything I do. Haha! Anyways, I’ve partnered with Dove to tell you all about the upgrades I’ve made to my beauty routine, including their Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant.

1) Lemon Water: I drink a ton of water as it is, but with this pregnancy I feel like I’m always thirsty so I’ve been drinking even more water. Since plain water can get a little boring to drink, I sometimes add a splash of lemon juice to it. It also has tons of health benefits, like boosting your immune system. And help you loose weight, but obviously that’s not my focus right now. (FYI: With being pregnant, I limit my lemon water intake and make it more diluted to avoid heartburn from the acid that can be more common in pregnancy).

2) Chapstick: I have the driest lips ever! And with the dry summer heat, they are only going to get worse. I keep chapstick stashed all over the house so I can apply it whenever I need to. And my niece is obsessed with chapstick too, it’s the cutest thing. She likes to apply it to my lips for me…and by lips I mean my nose and chin too. Haha!

3) Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant: Summer is practically here (we’ve had days in the 90’s already) which means I’ll be sweating more and wearing a lot of sleeveless tops. I (along with 92% of women) care about how my underarms look and feel when they’re exposed so I upgraded to the Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant.  It has a NutriumMoisture formula that leaves your underarms soft and smooth. 2 in 3 women have experienced underarm irritation, uneven skin tone, dry skin, red marks or other problems. I guess I’m one of the two women because I sometimes get bumps from shaving, and I feel like this formula helps with that. It also has 48-hours of odor and wetness protection so I won’t be sweating through my clothes. 🙂

4) Sunscreen: I’ll be honest, this winter I wasn’t as good about wearing sunscreen regularly. But now that it’s summer, I upgraded from the little bit of sunscreen that’s in my moisturizer to a full on sunscreen. It’s the best way to protect your skin.

XO, Kacie
