I bought some pin on badges to wear on my utility jacket like I mentioned in this post, but then I completely forgot to pin them on my jacket when I wore it. Oops! Anyways, I haven’t owned a pair of espadrilles in a few years and I forgot how much I love them! I’ve decided that I especially love leather espadrilles. The espadrille sole makes them perfect for summer and the leather part gives them a cool vibe 🙂

My sister and her family came to visit last week and it was so sad when they had to head home yesterday. We seriously have the best time when we’re all together! Our nephew, Shad, giggled for the first time and it’s the cutest laugh ever. And our niece, Stevie Rae, had decided that she thinks it’s pretty cool to dress like Aunt Kacie. 🙂  We went on lots of walks, played in the pool, picked black berries, and baked cookies. And Uncle Cody (or Toey as Stevie calls him) painted Stevie’s nails and she was in heaven. And then when it came time to say goodbye, Stevie kept saying “don’t leave” and “I wuv you”. It just melted my heart 🙂

XO, Kacie
