I’m holding a napping baby and watching last weeks episode of The Vampire Diaries while getting this post together…and NO!!! ENZO!!! Does anyone else watch that show and if so, were you super upset by the ending of the episode?

Anyways, on to Hazel’s nursery… I remember sitting in this room when I was pregnant and just staring at everything in it. I absolutely love the way it turned out! It has so many little touches to it that make it so special to me. My two favorites are the framed flower from my wedding bouquet (actually, it’s from my sister’s maid of honor bouquet because the flowers from mine got lost), and the drawings of the moose and raccoon that my mom did. I also forced Cody to build the bookshelves for her room, but we have so many books for her that they don’t all fit. And I’m obsessed with the dream catcher! It was a gift from my best friend on the day Hazel was born and it was the perfect finishing touch to the room. 🙂 Side note: On the day Hazel was born, my sister gave Cody a coffee mug that says “Hello, My New Name Is Daddy” and it was the only cup he drank out of for the first two weeks, and he always made me take pictures of him holding the cup and Hazel. Haha!

XO, Kacie
