Did you guys know that if you have a long scarf, you can wrap it around your neck twice to make it shorter? Seems pretty obvious, right? But nope, it took me three and a half hours before I figured that out. You see, I wore this outfit last friday when I was headed to my hometown for the weekend. I got up early to take these pictures before I hit road, and when I wrapped the scarf around my neck (just once), I thought, “darn it, I wish the scarf was shorter”. But I wasn’t about to cut my scarf, and I really liked the colors and print with the rest of my outfit, so I just left the ends hanging longer and took my pictures. (I also fell while I was taking the pictures but that’s a whole other story. If you follow me on Snapchat- elementsofellis, you heard the story and saw the picture). Then while I was driving, my brain finally turned on and I realized all I had to do to make my scarf shorter was wrap it around my neck twice. Duh! So I ended up retaking my pictures because it looks better with the scarf wrapped around my neck twice, as seen above 🙂

XO, Kacie
