Some days (er, most days), I do my makeup and don’t ever leave the house. For example, what you can’t see in these pictures is that I’m wearing my pajama pants. Haha! Its just that doing my makeup makes me feel good and not like a total slob, even if my clothes say otherwise. I recently tried the new Maybelline 24K Nudes Palette, as well the Maybelline Volume Express Colossal Big Shot Mascara, and the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner, and I really like all of it!

The 24K palette has it all. Mattes, shimmers, neutrals, and colors. You can go bold with a smokey eye or stick to an easy neutral day look. It really is a great go-to palette. If you want the shadow to be more pigmented, I suggest getting your brush wet first. I kind of get on kicks of doing my eyeshadow the same way every day, and lately I’ve been doing a more day time look with a bit of shimmer. My four favorite colors from the palette are the peach shimmer color, white, the neutral  shimmer color (the one next to white), and the olive green shimmer color. And of course, I’ve been loving the black Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner. I can’t live without black eyeliner. If I were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one makeup product, it would probably be black eye liner. I like my liner to be really black and liquid liner is the only way to get a deep black color. The  Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner is super easy to apply. Even though I wear black eyeliner almost every day, I’m still horrible at applying liquid liner, so I love the ease of applying this. And no eye look is complete without mascara, and this mascara really is amazing. It makes my lashes so much fuller, and the best part it that is doesn’t transfer to my eyelid. I’ve been having issues with my mascara leaving marks on my upper eyelid throughout the day which is super annoying, so I’m really happy that I finally found a mascara that won’t do that.

XO, Kacie
