I love a white blazer that doesn’t make me look like a doctor. Haha! Seriously though, Akira has so many amazing pieces that can work for Mother’s Day or any other occasion. This is my third piece from them, and I want more! Right now I’m eyeing this white lace-up romper…but I don’t think it will have room for a baby bump 🙁 But this maxi dress will 🙂

So what are your plans for Mother’s Day? I’m headed to my home town on Monday and staying with my sister for a week, so we’re going to celebrate a day late. After Stevie was born, I stayed with my sister for a week while she was still on maternity leave, and I promised to do the same when Shad was born 🙂 My sister is my best friend, and I love her kiddos so much, plus I get to see my parents and grandpa, so I’m really looking forward to next week! Also, I plan to go to my all-time favorite Chinese restaurant while I’m there 🙂

XO, Kacie
