Boot Socks

By | Uncategorized | 69 Comments

I have a new found love for boot socks. Which is kind of a shocker because they’re basically leg warmers only not because I don’t like leg warmers and I love boot socks. Leg warmers are ugly; they’re from the 80’s (and we all know how I feel about the 80’s) and they are just weird because people used to wear them when exercising and with pumps, and that is just plain hideous. But now that they have been renamed boot socks and are only worn under boots, I love them!

While I was taking these pictures, I had the hubby hold my purse for a second. Handing it back to me he said, “I think it’s time for you to get a new black purse”. I got the purse for my 16th birthday and I have loved it ever since (the handles are starting to wear out), so I am a little sad that my time with this purse is coming to an end. But when the hubby tells you to go shopping, you don’t ask questions. You just smile, take his credit card and say “why yes it is!”

Basketballin’

By | Uncategorized | 88 Comments

I feel like I look really tall in some of my pictures. Like I could be an NBA player. Move over Shaq, the giant Kacie is in town. But then I remember that at 5’4″, I’m actually a shorty and technically considered petite. Therefore, my career as a basketball star had to be cut short (get it?! I know, I’m so funny) when I was only in 8th grade. But now that I think about it, maybe my chance at basketball stardom doesn’t have to be over. I can wear wedge sneakers and nobody would know that I’m secretly short. Brilliant plan, Kacie! Just brilliant!

4 Ways To Wear Oxblood

By | Daisy Rae | 56 Comments
For round three of the 4 Ways To Wear series with  Jen from Jenny in Jacquard, Kristin from Living in Color Print  and Christina from Oh So Glam, we are taking on falls hottest color! Oxblood!

I love falls “It” color! But I do not love the “It” colors name. I mean, Oxblood? That just sounds gross! When I hear it, I can’t help but think of an Ox laying on the ground after being murdered by some fashionista. And then said fashionista decides the color of it’s blood it so gorgeous that she want to wear it. That’s just gross! So in my world, we call it burgundy or maroon or pretty much anything other then Oxblood.
Be sure to visit Oh So Glam, Living In Color Print, and Jenny in Jacquard to see more of everyone’s outfits.
