Preggers Tee c/o ILY

I cannot believe I’m only two weeks away from my due date! Eek! I’m so excited!!! I thought it would be fun to do one last pregnancy update before my little baby is born 🙂

HOW FAR ALONG? 38 weeks

TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN: 28 lbs

MATERNITY CLOTHES? Yes, but I can still wear a few non-maternity tops and dresses.

GENDER: Girl! (You can see the gender reveal party post here).

BABY’S POSITION? Breech (her head and feet and up by my ribs, and her little bottom has dropped into the birth canal…or wherever baby’s drop to when they say they’ve “dropped”)…looks like a c-section is in my future. I know a c-section isn’t ideal, but if it’s what’s best for me and the baby, then I’m ok with it. I’ve been trying to look at the positives of having a c-section and what I’ve come up with is 1) since it will be a scheduled c-section, I’ll be able to have my makeup and hair done so I can look good in pictures, and 2) I don’t have to worry about pooping during delivery. Ha!

STRETCH MARKS? Nope. Thank goodness!!!!

MOVEMENT: Yes. I love watching my stomach move. I think it’s so cool! Her little feet are up near her head and when she kicks, they poke out on my right side. My favorite is when I can feel her little feet poking out the side and I pretend we’re holding hands…only I’m actually holding her foot.

SLEEP: I wake up several time in the night to pee, but I’m able to go back to sleep easily.

FOOD CRAVINGS: Chicken nuggets dipped in bbq and ranch mixed together, and pastries/cookies.

CONTRACTIONS? I think I’ve been feeling contractions but I’m not really sure how to tell if they’re contractions or just cramping. I don’t ever gets cramps so I guess whatever I’m feeling is probably baby related. I figure when they’re the real deal contractions, I’ll know.

NAME: Cody and I are so obsessed with our baby name, but we’re keeping it a secret until she’s born. I seriously can’t wait to announce it!

WEDDING RINGS ON OR OFF? Off as of yesterday. But I’m hoping is has something to do with the heat wave we’re having, and that I’ll be able to put my wedding ring back on when the weather cools down this weekend.

XO, Kacie
