Me and windowpane have been having a moment for the past week (exhibit a). I also just added this windowpane top to my closet 🙂 Ok, so I’ve been eyeing these windowpane pants for a while but I was nervous to order them because I’ve never found Old Navy pants to fit me very well. Well boy howdy, that has changed thanks to the pixie pant. These pants are amazing! My mom, sister, and I were shopping the other weekend and popped into Old Navy and they had the pants on major sale. They come in like a million different prints, it’s crazy! Needless to say, I Read More
So I have this weird relationship with vests where I love them on other people, but when I wear them I’m all like, “Aaaaah! Where are my sleeves?!” I don’t know why it freaks me out so much because I like tank tops and they don’t have sleeves. I’m a wierdo and I’m trying to get over it. (Ok, so mid typing my computer screen just Read More
How much do we love my new statement necklace?! I love it this much (picture me holding my arms out really wide). Cody told me I look like I’m trying to be Mr T and I told him “I pity the fool who makes fun of this necklace”. I have to admit, I was pretty impressed with Read More
Welcome to Elements of Ellis (formerly Kacie’s Kloset)! I am so so so excited to share my new site with you all! I hope you love it! I’m in the process of switching all my social media accounts to the new name so bare with me while I get all that figured out and the links switched. Thanks so much for continuing to read my blog! It seriously means so much to me!
Of course, for the first post of my new blog, I had to wear black ripped jeans 🙂 These are the fabulous new jeans I found to replace my other ones that had faded, and let me tell you…I! LOVE! THESE! JEANS! The fit is amazing! They have enough stretch to make Read More
Before I talk about my pretty new jewelry (well, the necklace isn’t new, but the rings and bracelets are), I have to tell you about the new friend I made while I was taking these pictures. My new friend is…wait for it…keeping waiting…a miniature pig! He is the cutest thing ever and he has the coolest hair cut! I’ve seen him around town and I’ve always wanted to meet him, and my dream finally came true. His owner is the local barber (hence the awesome hair cut) and this location is where the pig goes for walks. It totally made my day. The little pig’s name is Read More

I don’t think I’ve ever gone bra shopping without my mom. Even now as an adult, I plan bra shopping trips with my mom. It’s the perfect mother-daughter bonding time. We always get a good laugh when we look at our bras because mine are teeny-tiny and my mom, well, let’s just say she was definitely blessed in that department. A couple years ago, we discovered we were both wearing the wrong size. I was wearing a size too small, and I was feeling pretty proud that I graduated from size AA to A. Woot! Woot! Haha! It’s crazy what a difference it makes when you finally start wearing your correct bra size. Your clothes fit and look way better on your body. Now before each bra shopping trip, my mom and I take measurements so we are sure to always buy the correct size. Kohl’s has a bra fitting guide that makes it super easy to find your size. Last weekend my mom, sister, and I went bra shopping at Kohl’s (ok, and we also bought a couple cute outfits for Stevie Rae and I bought a Keurig…Kohl’s seriously has everything you could ever need), and we came up with the must-have bras for all women, no matter if you have a super small, almost nonexistent chest like me (padding helps ;)) or if you’re larger chested like my mom. Here’s our list of the 6 bras every woman should own:
