After six weeks of no kitchen and lots of work, our kitchen remodel is finally complete and I LOVE it! I’ve gotta give props to my Code Man because he did a lot of the work himself. But he had a tiny bit of help from me too 🙂 I painted all the cabinets (ok, Cody helped a little). We used chalk paint because it requires no prep work, and it’s super easy to use 🙂

But what I’m most excited about is our kitchen sink. I was jumping up and down that’s how excited I was. I know, maybe it was a bit of an overreaction, but you try going six weeks of washing dishes in your bathtub, and you’ll see how exciting a kitchen sink can be. The best part is we got a super, unbelievably, amazing deal on our sink…and our faucet and our cabinet pulls. We ordered them through Build.com, and they were all like half the price of what you’d pay at Home Depot or some place like that and way better quality. We’re majorly impressed with Build. If you have any sort of home improvement project, I highly recommend ordering from them and asking for Liz Thomas (her extension is 9785 and her email is liz.thomas@build.com). She’s their number one sales person, and she is the bombdigity. She also just so happens to be my cousin 🙂

XO, Kacie
