6 Products Every Mom Needs

Mommin’ is a tough job! There are so many responsibilities like cleaning, cooking, dishes, laundry, keeping another human fed, happy, and alive, and the list goes on. In my past two years of motherhood (especially these last 7 months of having 2 kids only 19 months apart), I’ve discovered a few products that help make motherhood a little easier. Whether your kids are 12 years old or 2 weeks old, you need these products in your life! Get them, and thank me later 🙂

Tempur-pedic TEMPUR-CLOUD Pillow: I used to be the kind of person who required 9 hours of sleep at night…then I became a mom. Ha! Since I don’t get to sleep a full 9 hours every night like I used to, the sleep I do get needs to be a really good sleep. The Tempur-pedic TEMPUR-Cloud pillow is the softest, most huggable pillow! I have been sleeping so much more soundly since I started sleeping with this pillow. I feel like I’m a better mom when I’m well rested. I’m a lot calmer and have much more patience, which I need when parenting a toddler. I never thought I pillow could make that big of a difference, but it really does. Better sleep, means a calmer and happier mom, which makes for happier kids, which makes for a happy home and life.

-Steamer: A steamer actually has several different uses. I think the most obvious one it to get wrinkles out of clothes (I should probably just toss my iron and ironing board because I never use them any more). But it can also be used to clean your child’s toys, sanitize a toothbrush when someones been sick, steam clean your mattress, and remove dirt and grime from areas around your house (like walls or grout). I have a handheld steamer which makes it easy to quickly pull out when I need it. Plus, it doesn’t take a lot of space to store it.

Meal Delivery: Coming up with a recipe, buying the groceries, and then cooking the meal takes up so much time, plus it can be difficult to do while also taking care of kids. A meal delivery company does most of the work for you. I’ve tried a few different ones and so far my favorite is Gobble. Most of their meals are one pot meals (so you’re not dirtying a bunch of dishes), and all of their meals cook in 15 minutes. It’s easy, fast, and delicious!

Loopy Case: This is the absolute best phone case! The loop on the back makes your phone easier to hold and helps to prevent you from dropping it. I used to always drop my phone, but now I rarely drop it (and if I do, it’s because I wasn’t using the loop). Moms always have their hands full, and with the loopy case, you can put your finger through it so that the phone is resting on the back of  your hand so you still have that hand free to hold a baby, a bottle, a stuffed animal, or one of the other million things mom hold throughout the day.

-Robotic Vacuum: I used to clean the house really good every week, plus do mini clean mid-week, but since becoming a mom, I barely have time to clean the house anymore. So the robotic vacuum has been like our little maid. You can set a schedule for it to start cleaning on certain days at certain times. I set mine to turn on during nap time. I also use it to spot clean and area when the girls make a mess. Iris loves to follow it around, so it provides entertainment for your baby too. Haha!

-E-cart Grocery Shopping: This has been a lifesaver for me since have two kids. Not only are trips to the store hectic trying to get two kids out of the car, and entertain a baby and a toddler while shopping, but it’s also hard to find a time to go that doesn’t interfere with nap time for one of the girls. With e-cart grocery shopping, I can do all my shopping online, and then when I get to the store, they bring my groceries out to me. I don’t have to get the girls out of the car or even step foot in the store. Most weeks I try to schedule our grocery pick up to where Cody can just swing by the store to get our groceries on his way home from work which makes it even easier for me. Not only grocery stores offer e-cart shopping, but I highly recommend finding one in your area that does.
