SHOP THE POST

Christmas gets better and better each year. I honestly think Christmas is more fun as an adult/parent than it is as a kid. I love getting to carry on traditions that I did when I was a kid, and create new ones for my girls. Now that Hazel is two, I’m super excited to start the tradition of doing an activity advent calendar each Christmas with the girls (Iris will be included in most of these too, but she’ll probably be napping when we do some of the craft activities). I love this tradition because it gets us doing fun things together, and spending time together is what the holidays are all about.

The activities we’re doing this year are obviously all toddler appropriate, but I love that I’ll get to create new ideas each years as the girls grow. I’ve created a printable so that you can print it off and do this activity advent calendar with your kids too (just right click on the images to print them or click here, here, and here). Also, be on the lookout for a post on Christmas activities and crafts to do with toddlers. One of them will be a fun “build a snowman” activity without snow (we live where it doesn’t snow so we have to get creative).

XO, Kacie
