Around the holidays last year, our neighbor gave us some jam she made using rosewater and told us about some of the benefits of rosewater. It got me super interested in learning more about it, and since then, I’ve been incorporating rosewater into my beauty routine. It is AMAZING for your skin! It moisturizes skin to help keep it hydrated, it helps reduce redness from irritated skin, clears pores, helps with fine lines and wrinkles, the smell is a mood booster, and so much more!
Three of my favorite rosewater products are from the Heritage Store. They’ve been making products for over 50 years and all their products are clean, all-natural, and cruelty-free. Their products that are simple and easy to incorporate into your beauty routine.
Rosewater & Glycerin: This works so great for hydration. You can spray it on her face or body to moisturize your skin, or use it as a setting spray after you apply your makeup to give you a dewy look. I’ve been using it as part of my nighttime beauty routine, after my toner, but before applying my face oil. It aids in the absorption of the oil. You can also spray it on your hair for extra shine.
Rosewater: This is the jack of all trades. It’s so versatile! Use it as perfume or a makeup setting spray, add it to some of your DIY beauty recipes like lip balm or a face mask, or spray it on your skin throughout the day when you feel like you need an little extra hydration. Rosewater my new perfume. I ditched all my toxic products, which included my perfume, and I’ve have loved using rosewater as my new perfume. The scent is a natural mood enhancer, so along with smelling great, I feel great too 🙂
Rosewater Facial Toner: Apply this with a cotton pad after washing your face (before applying makeup, moisturizer, etc.) to gently remove any remaining dirt or residue. It’s amazing how much extra gunk it removes, and it leaves your skin feeling so healthy. It combats dryness, invigorated dermal circulation, diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, and cleanses pores.
Are you hooked on rosewater yet? Give it a try!
