Polka Dots from Nepali

By | Daisy Rae | 74 Comments

When I started my blog, I had zero polka dots in my closet. Now I have five polka dot items! I know that doesn’t seem like a lot to you polka dot lovers out there but for this polka dot hater turned polka dot liker, five is a lot. And I will gladly welcome more polka dot items into my closet.
This Nepali by TDM polka dot scarf is even more special because of the company’s story. Made by the women in Nepal, Nepali works to support them with above-market compensation, access to healthcare, and scholarships for the education of their children in order to help break the cycle of poverty. To add to their generosity, Nepali is offering 25% off site wide to all Kacie’s Kloset readers with code: kacieskloset

Can you guess what I did yesterday when I wore this outfit? Why I rode my bicycle, of course! And in the spirit of bicycling, I’m going to share with you a hilarious classic bicycle joke.

I Want Spring Not Summer

By | Daisy Rae | 65 Comments

The weather has been crazy lately- warm one day, then windy, then thunder storms and rain, and now 87 degrees. As happy as I was to get a chance to wear my mint shorts (they look a little more aqua in these pictures, don’t they?), I have realized that I am not quite ready for summer to get here. If I think 87 degrees is hot, then the 100 degrees summers we have is going to feel like H-E-double hockey sticks! So I beg of you mother nature, please drop into the 70’s and keep Spring weather here a while longer. Thanks in advance 🙂

Wrinkle Free Skirt

By | Daisy Rae | 78 Comments

I have met and fallen in love with the skirt of my dreams- this floral midi skirt. Why is it the skirt of my dreams you ask? Because there is no need to iron it (you might remember that I do not like to iron). Any wrinkles on this skirt just blend in with the pleats and go unnoticed. And if a wrinkle is unnoticeable, doesn’t it really even exits? All I know is that this floral midi skirt has made this iron-hating-girl pretty darn happy.

Stylish Mouse

By | Daisy Rae | 66 Comments

I used to have a thing against polka-dots. Any time I put on something polka dotted, I felt like Minnie Mouse and kind of little kid-ish. But I have recently discovered a new found love for polka dots (especially this particular polka dot top) and couldn’t be happier. I wish it hadn’t taken me so long to realize that Minnie knew what she was doing. I mean, she’s the most stylish mouse I know.

Snow White

By | Daisy Rae | 87 Comments

I have recently come to the realization that I am really pale. This probably isn’t shocking news to you but it is to me (I should have been tipped off to my paleness because I always have to buy the lightest shade of makeup but I was in denial). I just assumed I had tan skin because I have dark hair- kinda like when I assumed I had big eyes because my eyes are brown and everyone say big brown eyes. Apparently these things don’t go hand in hand. Lately, a lot of people (like the teller at the bank yesterday) have been telling me I look like Snow White and I’m never quite sure if it’s meant as a compliment. They just say it as a statement/fact. But then I remind myself that Snow White is the “fairest of them all” so it must be a compliment.
P.P.S. How cute is my chevron ring from HelloFab? So Cute!

Sugar Bean Jewely

By | Daisy Rae | 54 Comments

I recently discover Sugar Bean Jewelry and let me tell you, their items are absolutely gorgeous! With fresh designs, great quality and an even better price, you are going to love all of their sweet and dainty pieces. Owner, Jen, wanted to develop a line where “price, quality and wear ability were priorities”. And that is just what she did!
I love that the pieces can be worn casually with jeans and a tee or with your LBD on a date. The majority of the items come in silver, gold, or rose gold (I want each piece in every color, please!) and look great layered together. Plus, celebs like Beyonce, the Kardashians, and Cameron Diaz are fans of the line too! So when you wear Sugar Bean Jewlery, you can feel like a celebrity. At least, it makes me feel like a celebrity 🙂 I may have signed a few autographs while I was wearing my Sugar Bean Jewelry. Ok, I was signing checks at the bank but I pretended I was signing autographs for my fans.

Anyways, back to Sugar Bean. You will definitely want to check out their website (and follow them on facebook and twitter). To sum up my opinion about it: gorgeous jewelry, amazing quality and great prices! Love it!

Summer Bag

By | Daisy Rae | 73 Comments

Let’s all give a warm welcome to my new Cestino tote from MASSI. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be my go-to bag this summer. You really can’t go wrong with nautical stripes, am I right or am I right? I’m right. Plus, it’s got lots of room for all my goodies. Right now it’s filled with the typical purse belongings (wallet, lip stick, cell phone, etc) but I need to fill it with a beach towel, sunscreen and a book. That way, if the beach calls my name, I’m ready. Of course, I’d have to drive two hours to get there. But then I’d be ready 🙂

Good Girl Gone Bad

By | Daisy Rae | 61 Comments

Good Girl Gone Bad. That is how I would describe this outfit. The pretty lilac peplum top is so sweet and innocent. But the touches of snakeskin and the spike and chain necklace from Calypte Collection is so bad to the bone. (Just FYI, any time that I wear spikes or studs, I feel like one bad mamba-jamba. I would say I feel like a bad a** but that’s a cuss word and I don’t cuss. That’s the good girl in me 🙂 ) You may be wondering what I did on my “good girl gone bad” day. In typical good girl gone bad fashion, I went to the nutrition store and bought some Omega-3 vitamins (good girl) and then I got some chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups and peanut butter swirl (bad girl).
