I used to think wrap dresses were for old ladies, but boy was I wrong! This gorgeous wrap dress from WalG (go check out this site! Everything is amazing and so affordable!) is my new favorite dress! It’s easy to just throw on and head out the door…and I mean super easy! You don’t even have to pull it over your head; you just wrap it around your body and go. (Duh, Kacie. Hence the name “wrap dress”.) It’s kind of like a robe but way cuter and socially acceptable to wear in public 🙂
I watched the movie Burlesque yesterday, and now I have the song “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” stuck in my head…and I also want to become a burlesque dancer/be as talented as Christina Aguilera. But seriously, diamonds really are a girl’s best friend. Especially dainty diamond pendants. They can be worn with everything! Date nights, running errands, work, or you can layer them with other jewelry. It’s the one necklace you’ll Read More

Happy 4th of July weekend!!! And if you don’t live in the USA, then happy weekend!!! 🙂 I know my post is titled “red, white, & blue” and I’m not actually wearing red, but two out of three ain’t bad, right? Honestly, I’m not into wearing super themed outfits for holidays. As much as I love the US, I don’t want to look like I’m a walking American flag. Haha!
What are your plans for this long weekend? Cody and I were going to Read More

Whenever I see tribal prints, I think of my 4th grade school project where we had to do a report on an American Indian tribe. For our project, my friend and I made a video of us dancing and singing about our tribe. We even made vests out of paper bags and painted tribal prints on them. The video was super embarrassing (when we had to present it to the class, I closed my eyes the entire time. Ha!). But since then, I’ve always loved tribal prints. Luckily, I’ve gotten a little more stylish and have traded in my tribal print paper bag vest for cute tribal print clothes.
I have a very important question for you guys…will the color of this dress wash me out? I really love the minimalist style of the dress but it only comes in this “vanilla” color and I’m worried it might not look the best on my pale skin. What do you think? Should I order it? Read More
I’ve always really liked pencil skirts, but since I don’t work in an office (I blog full-time from home), I don’t own many. I think the last time I wore a pencil skirt was in high school when I was interviewing for scholarships. The lady who was interviewing me complimented my outfit, and it was then that I knew I’d get the scholarship. No matter how smart Ryan (my competition for the scholarship) was, he was no match for Read More
A pair of shorts and a tank top is one of my favorite summer outfits when the temps reach over 100 degrees. Well actually, when it’s that hot, my favorite outfit is a swimsuit and a pool. Ha! But if I have to get dressed in normal clothes, my go-to is shorts and a tank. I love the fun tribal print to this tank (which is on sale for under $12!) because it makes the outfit more interesting than just a solid colored tank top, but it’s so light weight that it keeps me cool…as cool as you can be when it’s that hot.
When it comes to deciding what to wear for my 4th of July outfit, I like items that, paired together, look festive, but can be wore separately the rest of the year without looking too patriotic.
I can’t believe 4th of July is already next weekend! I think Cody and I are going to Read More
The moment I saw this floral romper, I was in love and I knew exactly what I wanted to wear it with. The only problem…I didn’t own the shoes. Womp! Womp! I’ve been wanting a pair of “barely there nude strappy sandal heels” (what would you call this style of shoe?) for a long time so I decided to finally order this pair from Zappos that has been in my cart for months. And guess what? The very same day I ordered the shoes, I went to Target and found an identical pair for less than half the price. I know Zappos has an amazing Read More
