“You always want what you can’t have.” That is so true when it comes to hair. People with fine, silky hair want volume, people with curly hair want smoother, less frizzy hair, etc. In my case, I have thick, coarse hair, and I want more shine. My biggest hair struggle is that my hair gets very dry and dull (especially on the ends). I use a lot of heat on my hair which causes hair damage. It makes my hair feel and look “blah”. And when my hair looks and feels “blah”, I feel “blah”. It totally ruins my confidence. I’ve always been someone who likes to get ready every day, even if I’m just staying at home, because when I feel good about how I look, I have a better attitude and get so much more accomplished in my day, which makes me a happier person. So for me, having a good hair day is about so much more than just my hair.
