Whenever I see tribal prints, I think of my 4th grade school project where we had to do a report on an American Indian tribe. For our project, my friend and I made a video of us dancing and singing about our tribe. We even made vests out of paper bags and painted tribal prints on them. The video was super embarrassing (when we had to present it to the class, I closed my eyes the entire time. Ha!). But since then, I’ve always loved tribal prints. Luckily, I’ve gotten a little more stylish and have traded in my tribal print paper bag vest for cute tribal print clothes.

I love how tribal prints can take simple closet staples, like a black tank, and turn it into a statement outfit. My #TargetStyle tribal print pieces are such a fun and affordable way to update my wardrobe. All it takes is one tribal print item and BAM! my basic black tank looks new again. By the way, my tank is from #TargetStyle too. I get pretty much all my tees and tanks there because they have so many different colors and styles.

And just in case you were wondering…yes, my parents still have the video. Sadly, it’s not even the most embarrassing video we made as kids. Not by a long shot. Lol.
