Hey! Hey! I thought it might be fun to get a little more personal and share what I’ve been watching, reading, using, etc. 

Watching: Vikings. Cody got me hooked on this show. He watched the first episode of season 3 and then told me we needed to get it on Netflix so we could see it from the beginning. We’ve been binge watching the first two seasons and just finished them the other day. Now I’m  impatiently waiting for season 3 to come out on Netflix. Also, who watched the finale of The Vampire Diaries? It was everything I could do not to cry. Why?!?!?!?! And also Grey’s Anatomy? Nooooo! :'( I can’t wait for PLL to come back on!

P.S. I watch way too many shows!

Reading: Girl on the Train. A few weeks ago I had asked for book suggestions and several people said I should read Girl on the Train. I’m only a couple chapters into it because reading makes me sleepy, so I usually end up falling asleep within five pages. Haha! But from what I’ve read so far, I really like it!

Listening to: Hotel Ceiling by Rixton, Girl Crush by Little Big Town, Like a Wrecking Ball by Eric Church, and Can You Do This by Aloe Blacc. These four songs have pretty much been playing on repeat for the past two weeks.

Eating: Brookside Dark Chocolate Covered Berries. You guys, these are sooooooo good! I always have a handful of these as my nightly treat (and sometimes as a snack during the day). But they’re berries so they’re good for you, right?

Wearing: Shorts + Blazers/Jackets. I have been loving this combo and basically it’s the only thing I really want to wear right now.

Pinning: Home decor ideas. I have been on Pinterest non-stop looking through my home and office boards, and pinning new things to them. We close escrow on our house this week 🙂 I can’t wait to decorate!

Planning: Our 7 year wedding anniversary trip to Capitola, CA (Santa Cruz area). We go there every year for our anniversary weekend and it’s the best. It’s only a couple weeks away and I haven’t even booked our hotel yet. Eek! I need to get on that!

Using: My new selfie stick. Yes, I got a selfie stick and I am loving it! I plan on making Cody take lots of pictures with me on our anniversary trip (he hates pictures so he’s not happy about the selfie stick. Ha!). I need to practice using it though because it kind of takes me a bit to get it at the right angel, and I know that if it takes too long, Cody will get annoyed and not want to take pictures with me.

Wanting: A nice, quality black purse. I know summer isn’t really the season a black purses but let’s be real, we all know how much a love my black purse. I’m sure you’re sick of seeing the same black purse in just about every post. Since I use my black purse the majority of the time, I’ve really been wanting a nicer quality one. Nothing crazy expensive, but one that’s around $200. Any suggestions?

Loving: My niece, Stevie Rae. Seriously, I love that little munchkin so much! I got to see her over the weekend and she learned how to play peek-a-boo, so we played that for a super long time. When I was feeding her, she ripped her bib off and started playing peek-a-boo with it. So cute! And she made me the cutest “Auntie’s Day” present (my mom and sister created “Auntie’s Day” for me…so sweet of them!).
