Grey Dress

Baby girl will be here in less than 3 weeks! I’m super excited to meet her, but also sad for this pregnancy to come to an end. We only plan on having two kids, so unless we change our minds, this will be my last pregnancy. I’m trying to cherish all the movement and kicks I feel for the next couple weeks because I know that is what I’ll miss the most about being pregnant.

How Far Along: 37 Weeks

Size of Baby: A head of romaine lettuce

Total Weight Gained: 25 lbs

Wearing Maternity Clothes?: Yes. Most of my non-maternity tops that I’ve been able to wear my entire pregnancy are now to short to fit over my belly.

Baby’s Position: Breech, just like Hazel was.

Stretch Marks?: No.

Symptoms: Swollen, thirsty, and tired and a bit uncomfortable by the end of the day. I’ve noticed my face is looking fuller and my rings barely fit me anymore. There’s one spot on my belly that sometimes feels bruised from the inside. When it starts hurting, it’s my clue that I’ve been on my feet for too long.

Movement: Yes! My absolute favorite part of being pregnant!

Sleep: I’ve been sleeping pretty good considering how far along I am in my pregnancy. I toss and turn more, but it doesn’t disrupt my sleep too much, and I usually only get up once at night to pee.

Food Cravings: Chocolate and water.

Gender: Girl (see our smoke bomb gender reveal here)

Name: We’ve had the name picked out since a few months after Hazel was born (obviously, it was before I was pregnant), and we’re still sticking with that name. But we’re keeping it a secret until she’s born.

Birth Plan: A scheduled c-section (Thank you, breech babies. Haha!) I talked to my doctor and I’m hoping they’ll be able to order a clear drape or let us use a mirror so I can see her being born.

XO, Kacie
