I haven’t done a pregnancy update since I announced that I was pregnant, so I thought it’d be fun to do one now 🙂
HOW FAR ALONG? 25 weeks
TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN: 16 lbs
MATERNITY CLOTHES? Yes – mainly just pants/shorts/skirts. I can still wear most of my tops and dresses.
STRETCH MARKS? Not yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
MOVEMENT: Yes, she’s a little mover! I felt my first kick at 19 weeks and the kicks have just gotten stronger. I love it! My mom said I kicked and moved a lot when I was in her belly, so I guess our little girl is taking after me 🙂
SLEEP: Until a week ago, I was only waking up once to pee (which I pretty much did before I was pregnant too…small bladder problems. ha!). I’ve started waking up a little more because I’m uncomfortable and want to lay on my back but then that’s uncomfortable too. I’ve heard body pillows can help. Has anyone used one? Is it worth getting?
FOOD CRAVINGS: Fruit, water, and fruity popsicles. I’ve always loves fruit, but now I crave it all the time. I’d rather have a piece of fruit than chocolate.
SYMPTOMS? Leg cramps and bloody noses. Sometimes I’ll stretch my legs when I sleep and then wake up because it makes my legs cramp. I’ve learned that pointing my toes when I stretch my legs gives me legs cramps, but if I keep my feet flat, I don’t get cramps. As far as getting bloody noses goes, I think the combo of being pregnant and our dry heat is causing them. But overall, I’ve had it pretty easy with this pregnancy so I really can’t complain 🙂
