For the past couple years I have either been pregnant or newly postpartum in the summer, and now looking through my swimsuits, I hate them all (ha!), so I ordered a ton of swimsuits in hope of finding 2 or 3 that I like for this summer. I’m still not super comfortable showing my postpartum baby pooch, so all the swimsuits I ordered are either high waist or one piece.

Also, I ordered most from ASOS and they’re currently having a buy more, save more sale. The have free return shipping so I ordered like $500 worth of swimsuits (which qualified me for the biggest savings), and I’ll return all but the two or three I decide to keep 🙂

My body type for sizing reference: I’m 5’4″ and have a boyish figure. Flat chested and no curves. I have no clue how much I weigh (we don’t have a scale at home), but I typically wear a size x-small in tops and a 24 in jeans.

Brown Striped Bikini Top + Brown Ribbed Bikini Bottoms

Wearing a size 2 in the top and a size 4 in the bottoms.

This my absolute favorite! The straps on the top are adjustable and can detach which would be great for sun tanning. The top doesn’t have any padding which is the only thing I don’t like about this swimsuit. The bottoms have a ribbed texture and come right to your belly button. I tried on the size 2 also, but like the 4 best because they come up a little higher to cover the belly button. The bottom are cheeky.

Colorful Bikini Top + Bottoms

Swimsuit Try On

I’m wearing a size 32A in the top and a 2 in the bottoms.

I love the fit of this swimsuit. The cups on the top aren’t already formed (no padding) which I like because usually my boobs don’t fill out cups when they’re already formed. Haha! I also love how high waisted the bottoms are. They have a cheeky bottom. This pattern comes in several different top and bottom styles.

Black and White Striped Top + Bottoms

Swimsuit Try On For Moms

I’m wearing a size x-small in both the top and bottom. Runs big. I recommend sizing down one size.

The mixed matched stripes on this are so cute! The tie in the front can untie but it’s not what holds the suit together, so even if it unties, you won’t flash anyone. The bottoms have more of a fuller coverage.

White Ribbed One Piece

Swimsuit Try On Asos

I’m wearing a size 4

The straps on this are adjustable which would be great for gals with a longer torso. The buttons are functioning so it’d be really easy to breastfeed in. It has a cheeky bottom and doesn’t have padding. It can also double as a body suit 🙂 It would look so cute with jean shorts!

Brown Ruffle Top + Brown High Waist Bottoms

Swimsuit Try On

Wearing a size 2 in the top and 4 in the bottom

This top has padding which I like, and the ruffle detail is super cute! The bottoms come right to the belly button and have a more full coverage than the other I tried on.

White Tortoiseshell Top + Bottom

Asos Swimsuit Try On

I’m wearing a 2 in both the top and bottom.

The material of this is that tight bandage material, so this is definitely a tighter squeeze to get on and quite not as comfortable as the others. The top isn’t padded and the bottoms are the cheeky style.

Brown One Piece

Swimsuit Try On

This suit is one size.

The material of this is soooo soft and comfy! It is kind of shiny which I like. It’s not padded and has a cheeky style bottom.

One Shoulder Swimsuit

Amazon Swimsuit Try On

Wearing a size small

This is definitely the most full coverage of all the suits I tried on. It doesn’t have the high leg and the bottom is more full coverage, plus is has padding for your boobs.
