For this weeks East vs. West Style Series we’re teaming up with WalG to show you six Valentine’s Day outfits (you can see our other posts hereherehereherehereherehere, and here).  And we’re also welcoming a new member to our group, Monic from Simply Sutter. We’ve been blogging friends for a while so I’m so excited to have her as a part of this series! Be sure to check out all these gorgeous ladies’ blogs (linked above) for some outfit inspiration 🙂

Who says you have to wear pink and red on Valentine’s Day? I think black (or any neutral) is a perfectly good option…of course, I think neutrals are always a good option. Valentine’s Day isn’t really my favorite holiday ever (I think it has something to do with being sick every year on Valentine’s Day from kindergarten through 8th grade), so I tend to rebel and wear black or moto jackets or something not so girly and lovey-dovey. Haha! Don’t get me wrong, I do love presents so even though I don’t love Valentine’s Day, I still expect a present from Cody 🙂 But my favorite Valentine’s Days are always the ones when a Nicolas Sparks movie comes out. I basically live and die and breath and live again for Nicolas Sparks books and movies, so you can bet we’re going to see The Choice this weekend. And don’t tell Cody I told you this, but he actually really loves Nicolas Sparks movies too.

XO, Kacie
