ITEMS NEEDED

Cardboard

Yarn

Glue

Pompom

Jewels/Gems/Sequin

Feathers

Googly Eyes

This craft was a hit with my girls! Hazel made several of these little hearts, and Iris enjoyed glue “decorations” on hers. This would be a really cute craft for your child to make to pass out to all their friends.

Step 1: Cut out a piece of cardboard into a heart shape.

Step 2: Cut a little strip in the downward part of the heart to secure the yarn in it (see picture). You could even glue the piece of yarn to the back of the heart to secure it more.

Step 3: Wrap the yarn around the heart. With a little guidance from me, Hazel was able to do this part by herself. When it’s all wrapped, use glue to secure it in place.

Step 4: Glue on the “decorations” (aka fathers, gems, googly eyes, etc.)

XO, Kacie
